North Country Savings Bank Designates Parking Spots for Veterans
North Country Savings Bank recently announced the installation of parking spots exclusively for military veterans. This initiative is part of the bank’s ongoing commitment to recognize and honor the sacrifices made by those who have served in the armed forces. The spots are located at all of NCSB’s branches and feature greater accessibility and convenience for those who have served.
To help celebrate the initiative, John Coffey, commander of Edward C. Seymour Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1231 in Canton and other members of the VFW recently gathered around the new sign in Canton and offered their praise. The Canton VFW organization has been a longstanding customer with North Country Savings Bank, and the dedicated spots serve as a visible acknowledgment of the courage and dedication their members have demonstrated.
“Military veterans have given so much for our freedom and safety, and it is our duty to express our gratitude,” said President & CEO R. Brian Coakley. “By providing designated parking, we aim to make their experience with us more convenient and to honor their sacrifices in a tangible way.”
The designated parking spots will be clearly marked and located close to the bank entrances, ensuring ease of access for veterans visiting the bank. In addition to its military customers, NCSB also employs several veterans or family members of veterans.
